What are the differences between the Retailer, Terminal, and Merchant Totals Reports?

Below you will find a summary of all the features of the reports tab.

Transaction Receipts

 - When logged in as "Market Manager", that user can view all transaction receipts still on the device, generated by any merchant, since the "Market Manager" is the master user/owner of the device.
 - When logged in as a user under a specific merchant, that user can only view transactions receipts that were performed by only that merchant.
 - Transaction receipts older than 30 days will be automatically deleted from the device.
 - Receipts and transaction data regardless of age will never be deleted unless they have been uploaded to the server.

Retailer Totals Report

 - Settlement report that shows totals for all terminals associated with the vendor's MobileEbt.com account.
 - Report is run for a specific Settlement Date.  Settlement dates are listed on approved transaction receipts. The Settlement date refers to the date that the transaction posts to the vender's account.
 - Report is only visible and can only be run while logged in as "Market Manager".
 - The data for this report comes from the server and is not affected when transaction information older than 30 days is deleted on the device.

Terminal Totals Report

 - Settlement report that shows totals for a specific terminal associated with the vendor's MobileEbt.com account.
 - Report is run for a specific Settlement Date.  Settlement dates are listed on approved transaction receipts.
 - Report is only visible and can only be run while logged in as "Market Manager".
 - Terminal numbers to use with this report are found on the top left of transaction receipts.
 - The data for this report comes from the server and is not affected when transaction information older than 30 days is deleted on the device.

Merchant Totals Report

 - Local report that shows approved transaction totals for a particular merchant based on transactions currently on the local device.
 - The report can be viewed by Transaction Date or Settlement Date, as well as by date range.
 - The report data is based on receipt data that still on the device, so transactions older than 30 days will no longer show on this report.
 - When logged in as "Market Manager", totals can be viewed for any or all merchants created on the device.
 - When logged on as a user under a specific merchant, only totals for that merchant can be viewed.
 - This report is very useful to the Market Manager, because when the device is shared among multiple merchants, it is easy to see what is owed to each merchant.

Shift Totals Report

 - This shows a running total of approved transactions for each merchant that uses the device.
 - When logged in as "Market Manager", the totals represent a summary of all approved transactions by all merchants since the last time the Market Manager reset the Shift Totals.
 - When logged in as a user under a specific merchant, the totals represent a summary of all approved transactions by that merchant since the last time the merchant reset the totals.
 - This is particularly useful for merchants that have multiple clerks where they want to see how much has been sold since a particular point in time (i.e. the start of a clerk's shift).
